I have received number of representations in regard to the Fast Passenger Train running between Jalandhar City- Katra and Katra - Jalandhar City back on the same Day . As most of the Common man representations have said that this train is within there Financial budget to go to pay obeisance at Mata Vaishno Devi Temple . They have demanded that this Train should run Daily and run regularly . Some have forwarded me with representations that Two A.C. Chair Car be included in this Train , Similarly some have suggested that the number of Coaches should be increased and minimum Three to Four Bogies be made reserved . As keeping in mind the representations I have received from various Residents of Jalandhar , I will be writing a Letter to Mr Suresh Prabhu Union Minister for Railways to continue this Fast Passenger No 04495/04496 and announce its Daily running in Public Interest and to increase the number of Coaches and to include Two A.C. Chair Cars . As I am thankful to all of those Persons who have guided me in regard to the demand of the Public of this Train .

I am receiving number of complaints in regard to the repair work carried out at slow pace on the Chehru Bridge on National Highway No 1 between Jalandhar City-Phagwara . As the repair work had started many days before but the completion of the repair work is still in dilemma when the repair work will be completed . Being a Toll Road and the Vehicle owners travelling from Delhi , Ambala , Ludhiana pay Toll Tax but unfortunately long Lines of vehicles are witnessed on and often on this bridge as the traffic on one bridge has been closed and diverted on the other bridge due to repair . I will be taking up the matter with Chief Minister Punjab S Parkash Singh Badal and Deputy Chief Minister S Sukhbir Singh Badal for early completion of the repair work being carried out at Chehru Bridge to resolve the inconvenience to the vehicle owners due to traffic hazards due to the repair of the Bridge .

जालंधर को स्मार्ट सिटी की सूची में शामिल करने का कालिया ने किया स्वागत

जालंधरः केन्द्रीय शहरी विकास मंत्रालय द्वारा सरकार की देश भर में 100 स्मार्ट शहर बनाने की महत्वाकांक्षी योजना के तहत नामांकित 98 शहरों की सूची में जालंधर को शामिल करने का भाजपा विधायक मनोरंजन कालिया ने स्वागत किया है।

कालिया ने कहा कि जालंधर को स्मार्ट शहर बनाने से चौतरफा विकास होगा। मंत्रालय द्वारा जारी सूची में पंजाब के 3 शहर जालंधर, लुधियाना और अमृतसर शामिल हैं।

वहीं 5 साल के भीतर प्रत्येक शहर का 1000 करोड़ रुपए से विकास होगा। केंद्र सरकार की तरफ से हर साल 100-100 करोड़ रुपए तीनों शहरों को दिए जाएंगे।

As many Complaints figures in the News Papers in regard in to the lapse in the Quality of Food . The Passengers complaint there anguish in this regard in the Newspaper's as the news are highlighted due to the items not up to the mark or are unhygienic creating hindrances in the minds of the passengers in regard to consumption of the items served in the Train . The Union Railway Minister Mr Suresh Prabhu should compliance and redeem the complaints on war footing in regard to the unhygienic items if supplied to the Passengers in prestigious Trains . Railway is committed for Hygienic Food to the Passengers where dinner /meals are charged in the Ticket . As I have personally also written compliant in regard to the items served in Shatabdi Express Train .

I welcome the running of Fast Passenger Train from Jalandhar City to Katra introduced by the Railway's . The Train will run from 19 Th August 2015 to 1 st Oct 2015 and run Five Days a Week . As keeping in mind the Fare of this Train is Economical due to Fast Passenger Train and comes in the Passenger Train Category , I request Hon'ble Union Railway Minister Mr Suresh Prabhu , G.M. Northern Railway , D.R.M. Ferozepur to regularize this train from Five Days a Week to Seven Days a Week and this train should be kept plying even after 1 st October 2015 and make it a permanent Train running between Jalandhar City to Katra . As thousands of Passengers will enjoy the benefit to go to Shree Vaishno Dev Shrine in this Train keeping in mind its Rail Fare much less then other Transport means from Jalandhar City to Katra and many Daily Passengers from various Stations like Bhogpur , Tanda , Dasua , Mukerian , Pathankot will be benefited .

Really I had talks on memorable moments regarding the days of Emergency when my father Late Manmohan Kalia was arrested during Emergency in 1975 and remained in Jail for 19 months .

I am the regular visitor of Shree Devi Talab Mandir as Devotee on every Tuesday for the last 40 Years or so . Municipal Corporation Jalandhar has recently built the Tanda Road perfectly . Not a month has passed the said road has again been dug up to lay Road Gullies on the either side of the newly built main Entrance of Shree Devi Talab Mandir . The Berms on the side of which Road Gullies have been built are on the higher side as compared to that of Bikaner Shop side . Thus during Rainy Season the Water will get collected and remain stranded on the opposite side of the road where the Road Gullies have been built . Municipal Corporation Jalandhar is in the habit of executing development works without proper planning and thinking after completion about the left out works , there by dismantling the completed works to re-lay the left out works , thereby making the newly built road smarter with patches, of-course with lavish spending of scarce resources.

I have written earlier also that Development is an on going Process . As I am committed to the development of my Jalandhar Central Constituency , I am in contact with Punjab Chief Minister Punjab S. Parkash Singh Badal , Deputy Chief Minister S . Sukhbir Singh Badal for releasing of Funds to carry out Development Works that have been stranded due to non availability of Funds or the Pending Works in my constituency which have been halted due to non availability of Funds . As many areas that have been included in Jalandhar Central Constituency after delimitation of Constituencies in 2012 Punjab Assembly Elections 2012 , Most of the new included areas like Rama Mandi , Baringh , Dakoha , Ladewali and many other areas which were considered to be Rural and now are the part of Municipal Corporation Jalandhar have been developed as per the availability of Funds and I have tried my best to provide basic civic amenities in these areas . As many development Works are still Pending I am committed to fulfill the commitments that I have made with the People of these areas during the Pre- Punjab Assembly Elections 2012 . To motivate the Youths towards Sports and to keep them healthy soon three Sports Stadiums Construction Works will be started in Jalandhar Central Constituency .
