One of my Face Book Friend has said that it is unfortunate on the part of the Northern Railway as they have terminated the services of Fast Passenger Train 04495/04496 running between Jalandhar- Katra and the same Day Katra- Jalandhar City but now these services have been resumed from Amritsar- Katra . My Face Book Friend said that this train was benefited for the poor as the fare from Jalandhar City to Katra was mere Rs 55/- only . No doubt many other trains Long Distance Trains pass through Jalandhar Cantt Railway Station to Katra as recently many Trains route have been extended up to Katra .He said that the Fare of these Trains are much more then the Fast Passenger Train which have been terminated . Face Book Friend has said Why this Train has been terminated from Jalandhar and then started from Amritsar to Katra ? As the train was benefited to the People of Doaba . I assure my Face Book Friend that I will take up the matter will the Party High Command and Hon'ble Union Railway Minister Mr Suresh Prabhu .

I have received number of representations from various people and Societies to get completed the Sewerage Project that is pending due to some technical reasons falling in my Constituency in Dakoha ( Rama Mandi Area ) . As I assure all those who have met me personally and the Societies who have given representation's to me that I have taken up the matter with the Chief Minister Punjab S Parkash Singh Badal , Deputy Chief Minister S Sukhbir Singh Badal , Chief Secretary ,Punjab , Principal Secretary Local Bodies ,Punjab ,Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board Authorities to get the hurdles if any cleared and complete the Sewerage Project so that the Sewerage Project starts functioning at the earliest .

Prime Minister of India Narender Modi today on Air Programme of 'Mann Ki Baat' has hailed radio, saying it is a great medium for communication which he had been using over the last one year to reach out to people through 'Mann Ki Baat' (straight from the heart), which he said had become 'Aap Ki Baat (your talk)'.He mentioned that the great freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose had set up radio in Germany and he would communicate through it in various languages. He said on upcoming of Gandhi Jayanti, Modi again exhorted people to buy at least one Khadi clothing and a handloom product as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and to encourage the industry. He said that the child, who did not give out his name, told Modi that since he had initiated the 'Swacch Bharat' campaign, there should be dustbins in every lane of the country. Mr Modi Expressed his happiness that cleanliness is being discussed from Parliament to the streets, he said the campaign will have to be carried forward "despite its weaknesses" so that the dream of Mahatma Gandhi to see India a clean country is realised by 2019, the 150th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation.

Improvement Trust Jalandhar has proposed to set up a Senior Citizen's Home at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Avenue Jalandhar  . The Senior Citizen Home is a Western Concept where Parents stop grooming their progeny at the Age of Sixteen and the children are asked to earn their livelihood for their own up bringing . It is likely the children in the West when they grew up don't bother for their parents . Thus there was no body to look after the Parents in the West in the Old Age and "Old Age Home"  is the only Answer but in India Parents support their Children in thick and thin , the Indian parents invest everything including their savings in making the life of their children comfortable so the Children in India also responds to their parents by looking after in their old age . There are a few exceptions where the children don't care the Parents . Every concept of the West may not be suitable to the Indian Culture and should not be adopted without applying the mind . The concept of Old Age Home will be successful only if the children stop looking after their parents in their old age .

He said that there are Five Railway Ticket Booking Reservation Windows at Railway Station , Jalandhar , He said when he visited for Reservation of Tickets but was shocked to witness that only Two Ticket reservation Booking Windows were functioning , As one was general and other was of Senior Citizens/Ladies . Mr Suri said that even though other facilities of Railway Ticket Reservation are available at Railway Booking Agencies / Internet are available but even though most of the people visit Railway Station to get there Seats Booked in various Trains . As Mr Suri said this is the major problem I ensure Mr Sushil Kumar Suri Ji that I will be forwarding your suggestion to the Union Railway Minister Mr Suresh Prabhu , General Manager , Northern Railway , Divisional Regional Manager , Ferozepur , Station Superintendent , Jalandhar to ensure that all the Five Reservations Windows are functional during the Reservation Time for the convenience of Jalandhar Public and forward Representation for regular running of Jalandhar City- Katra and Katra- Jalandhar City Fast Passenger which was is running on temporary trial till 2 nd Oct 2015 . As one of my Face Book Friend has demanded that I should take up the Matter with S Ajit Singh Kohar , Minister for Transport Punjab to introduce a new fleet of new A.C. Buses for different destinations . He said that earlier Fleet of A.C. Buses were introduced during the then Minister of Transport and now Former Minister Master Mohan Lal . My Friend said that the Two A.C. Buses run by Punjab Roadways Hoshiarpur Depot from Jalandhar- Hoshiarpur and Hoshiarpur- Jalandhar were successful routes and this rout yielded revenue to the Government . As now plying of A.C. Bus service by Punjab Roadways is stopped since long and the Passengers enjoying the facilities of A.C. Service between Jalandhar-Hoshiarpur have been deprived . Earlier few months back I had brought this issue in the notice of S Ajit Singh Kohar , Transport Minister , Punjab and he had assured me of starting the service and even My P.A. Mr Ashish Chopra had received message from P.A. of Transport Minister , Punjab . I will be once again bringing the whole matter in the notice of Punjab Transport Minister keeping in mind this public Interest issue .

As keeping in mind the declining Water Table Level in various areas of Punjab where recharging of under ground water level is not sufficient need of time is to Save Every drop of Water and change of mode in Agriculture produce with the recommendations and suggestions from Agriculture Universities . Similarly Saving every Drop of Oil ( Petrol , Diesel ) means we are strengthening our Economy by saving Imports of Crude Oil and out Foreign Reserves . It is we to follow the Slogan in public Interest to keep Water intact in coming future due to the threat of Global Warming and save every drop of Petrol , Diesel to strengthen the Economy and Foreign Reserves .
