One of my Face Book Friend has said that it is unfortunate on the part of the Northern Railway as they have terminated the services of Fast Passenger Train 04495/04496 running between Jalandhar- Katra and the same Day Katra- Jalandhar City but now these services have been resumed from Amritsar- Katra . My Face Book Friend said that this train was benefited for the poor as the fare from Jalandhar City to Katra was mere Rs 55/- only . No doubt many other trains Long Distance Trains pass through Jalandhar Cantt Railway Station to Katra as recently many Trains route have been extended up to Katra .He said that the Fare of these Trains are much more then the Fast Passenger Train which have been terminated . Face Book Friend has said Why this Train has been terminated from Jalandhar and then started from Amritsar to Katra ? As the train was benefited to the People of Doaba . I assure my Face Book Friend that I will take up the matter will the Party High Command and Hon'ble Union Railway Minister Mr Suresh Prabhu .
