I have always been committed to the Development of Jalandhar Central Constituency . On 29 th April 2016 I Inaugurated alongwith Mayor Jalandhar Development Works of Rs 2.15 Crores ( Dhannowali Roads 83 Lacks , Arman Nagar 1.03 Crores , New Ganesh Nagar 33 Lacks ) Similarly on 30 th April 2016 I inaugurated Development works to the tune of Rs 3.14 Crores ( Laying of Tiles in Village Chokhan Kalan Rs 80.48 Lacks , Interlocking Tiles in Bhatra Mohalla Rs 16.35 Lacks , Laying of BM PC at Prof Colony Rs 33.89 Lacks , Laying of Interlocking Tiles in Old Beant Nagar ( Slum Area ) Rs 35.38 Lacks , Construction of Roads in Kot Ram Das to Old Beant Nagar Rs 64.53 Lacks , Interlocking Tiles adjoining Beant Nagar Rs 1.92 lacks , Laying of Interlocking Tiles in Birring Rs 82.52 Lacks Total more than Five Crore Development Works have been inaugurated within Two Days

Development have always been my priority , my commitment , After delimitation of Jalandhar Central Constituency after 2007 new areas from Rama Mandi , Birring ,Dakoha were included in this constituency , I whole hardheartedly took initiative to provide all the basic civic amenities to the people residing in these areas and tried my best to get allocated ample of funds for various developments in these areas which were deprived of Development in the past . As Yesterday also I inaugurated number of development works in various areas of which details I will be writing on the wall of my Face Book . As the Masses have shown faith in me similarly I have left no stone upturned for the development and providing basic civic amenities to the residents of Rama Mandi , Birring , Dakoha and other areas .

Yesterday I read a News in the Newspaper that the Northern Railway will be starting a new Train between Ferozepur- Jalandhar- Jammu -Udampur -Katra . and similarly back .Earlier last year a Passenger Train was introduced between Jalandhar City-Pathankot-Katra and back on the same Day . As it was fast Passenger Train the Rail Fare of this Train was quite Less then the Express/ Mail Trains , the most benefited was the common man . The Train services were terminated after successful running of the train for few weeks . A number of Representations were forwarded to the Union Railway Minister Mr Suresh Prabhu and even I had written on the Wall of the Face Book demanding restoration of the Train . As now the Northern Railway has made the proposal for a Train between Ferozepur- Jalandhar- Pathankot-Jammu- Katra the Train introduced should be Passenger Train so that the common man can enjoy the facilities in less Rail Fare to Katra to pay their obeisance at Mata Vaishno Devi Temple

As some have asked in regard to the starting of construction of Rama Mandi Fly Over , I am to assure them that soon the construction Work on Rama Mandi Flyover will be in Action . I have earlier also mentioned that I am thankful to the Higher Authorities to get the work started on Fly Overs as I had taken up the issue time to time with union Minister Mr Nitin Gadkari Ji . Development have always been my priority for Jalandhar City , As in the past as a Minister for Local Bodies I had brought Additional Fund of Rs 100 crore for Development of Jalandhar City and to provide basic civic amenities to various colonies in Jalandhar City in Public Interest .

While addressing the People I said that I had committed for all around development in various areas of Jalandhar Central Constituency and B.J.P.-S.A.D.(B) Alliance is fulfilling the commitments that has been made with the masses . I further said that B.J.P.-S.A.D.(B) alliance is always committed towards Development . As today inauguration of various Development Projects in various Wards were given green signal . In University Enclave Work of Rs 61 Lacks , Moti Bagh Development Works of Rs 28 Lacks , Man Singh Nagar Rs 1 Crore and 41 Lack , Dhilwan Ward No 11 Development Works of 46 Lacks , Mahinder Singh Colony Ward No 12 Development Works of Rs 58.70 Lacks , Ekta Nagar Ward No 10 Development Work of Rs 37.45 Lacks , Mohan Vihar Ward No 10 Development Works of Rs 75 Lacks will be executed . I said that revolutionary Development Works will certainly provide basic civic amenities to the areas where development works will be carried out , Earlier on 14 th April 2016 inauguration of Development Works to the tune of Rs 2 Crore were given green signal for executing of works . DEVELOPMENT HAVE ALWAYS BEEN MY PRIORITY AND COMMITMENT  I yesterday inaugurated the construction of various Sewerage schemes in Ward No 9,10,11, 12 which will be completed with the cost of Rs 2Crores and 7 Lack Rupees   .It is pertinent to note that the sewerage work at Pragpur Abadi was halted due to objections from National Highway Authority of India . As my sincere efforts proved fruitful when the National Highway Authority of India granted permission and clearance to carry out the construction work of sewerage works . Similarly development works in Dhannowali and Green Enclave will also be carried out in this Budget. Others Present were Mayor Mr. Sunil Jyoti , S Balbir Singh Bittu Councilor , Gurmej Kaur Councilor , Shamsher Singh Dhindsa , Mandeep Jassal Councilor , Mandal BJP President Mr Sham Sharma ,Mr Ashish Chopra , Madam Anju Parbhakar and others were present .
