    “ Go Green Drive” Where there is a will there is a way , these were the words that Former Minister Punjab Mr. Manoranjan Kalia when he visited Basant Hills , Hoshiarpur Road , Jalandhar to inaugurate the sampling Drive organized by Madav Sewa Society ( Regd ) President Mr. Vivek Joshi who is M.B.A. , L.L.B, L.L.M. . Mr. Kalia said that planting sampling is a nobly cause and I congratulate and appreciate the Children for planting sampling to keep the environment intact. Mr. Kalia saluted President of the Society Mr. Vivek Joshi who is 100 percent handicapped and with the permission of Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court he was granted permission for a writer in the Exams . While the Family Members of Vivek Joshi said that he teaches 71 students from the last four to five years and the credit goes to Dr Raghbir Singh and Prof Daljit Singh from Doaba College who provoked him towards higher studies. Declaration of EKTA SATHAL - The memorial of Dr. Shayama Parshad Mukherjee as National Monument and Carving out of under-Pass on the National Highway Road from Pathankot to Jammu near the EKTA SATHAL.  I have sent letter to Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendera Modi through E Mail. In the letter I have written that Your Good self must be remembering that after the declaration of Prime Ministerial Candidate in Goa B.J.P. National Executive, Your good self started the Election Campaign on 23rd June 2013  by paying respects to Dr. Shayama Parshad Mukherjee at Ekta- Sathal, Madopur, Punjab. While addressing a public rally on 23rd June 2005 the Martyrdom day of Dr. Shayama Parshad Mukherjee who laid down his life for the Unity and Integrity of India, Sh Lal Krishan Advani expressed his desire to build a monument in his memory near Madopur  Bridge from where Dr. Mukherjee crossed the Bridge without permit to enter Jammu & Kashmir on 11th May 1953 and martyred on 23rd June 1953 under mysterious circumstances. When in 2007 Alkali-BJP alliance came to power, I as the Leader of the B.J.P. Legislature Group expressed the desire of Sh L.K. Advani to Chief Minister Punjab S Parkash Singh Badal to build a monument in the memory of Great Martyr. Chief Minister Punjab S. Parkash Singh Badal readily accepted my suggestion and deputed me as Local Government and Industries Minister Punjab to execute the monument into realization.  The Statute of Dr. Shayama Parshad Mukherjee is 18 Feet in height and has been placed on the 10 Feet pedestal. The said monument named as  “EKTA SATHAL" was inaugurated on March 20, 2010 by respected Sh. Mohan Bhagwat Ji, Sar Sangh Sanchalak, R.S.S., Sh L.K. Advani Former Deputy Prime Minister of India, Sh. Nitin Gadkari the then National President B.J.P. .Thus Ekta –Sathal is a symbol of Unity and Integrity of India and has a National Importance. It is therefore requested that the Ekta –Sathal should be declared National Monument. It is further requested that the underpass may kindly be ordered to be carved out near Ekta-Sathal on the National Highway going for Pathankot to Jammu. The copies of the letter have been forwarded to  Mr. Mohan Bhagwat Ji Sar Sangh Sanchalak R.S.S. , Mr. L.K. Advani Former Deputy Prime Minister of India and Mr. Nitin Gadkari Hon’ble Union Minister  through E Mail  .

Prime Minister of India Narendera Modi had extended his hand for Peace talks between India and Pakistan in a meeting held in Russia between Narendera Modi and his Pakistan Counterpart Mian Nawaz Sharief .It is now up to Pakistan to honor the commitment by curbing the menace of Terror and Militants with an Iron Hand, sideline the concept of Border Terrorism . Pakistan should refrain from sidelining the norms adopted during ceasefire and follow the rules of Cease Fire at International Border and refrain from Firing that can indulge to a hurdle in the Peace Talks in coming Future between India and Pakistan . Peace at International Border can save Financial Expenditure on the Border which can be utilized for the Development projects .

Punjab has witnessed in the passed a decade of Militancy which derailed down the development works of Punjab during the days of Militancy . As B.J.P-S.A.D.( B ) Alliance when came to power in 1997-2002 and then 2007-2012 , and then 2012 onward s Punjab is heading towards Green Revolution Part- II . The Union Government should sanction Three Heavy Industries Units in Punjab one in Malwa , One in Mahja and One in Doaba so that the Unemployed Youths can get more opportunities of Employment in the coming Days .

Global Warning is the major issue that is being discussed and debates are organized throughout the Global, Global Warming is a threat to Climate Change in the coming years which cannot be ruled out. The increasing of Temperature is always threat to the melting of Glaciers as the melting of Glaciers increases when the temperature rises whereas Glaciers will start squeezing in coming Years. The major reasons responsible for the Global Warming are Felling of Trees, Emission of Vehicles etc. We all should come forward voluntarily to go ahead with GO GREEN Mission and this can only be fulfilled if we all pledge to Plant fresh Sampling. Recharging and increasing Underground Water Table in Punjab in different areas in Punjab specially in Kandi and Doaba areas is really the need of time and for this we all will have to come forward to save every drop of water and specially try to go ahead with Rain Water Harvesting by taking this indicative ourselves by making arrangements for Water Harvesting in our Homes Gardens , near by parks adjoining to our Houses so that we ourselves can also be a part of Rain Water Harvesting and succeed in increasing the underground Water Table .I have received valuable suggestions from my friends in regard to Rain Water Harvesting to which I will forward to the Government .

The declining Underground Water Table in various Areas in Punjab is really a sensitive issue and needs debate and immediate attention , How to save every Drop of Water in coming Days and to implement various Water Harvesting Schemes in Punjab to keep recharging the Under Ground Water Table in coming future . The need of times is to Recharge under ground water table through Rain Harvesting should be strictly implemented in the Urban Areas as the Ponds are diminishing at higher speed in the Urban areas which were the source of Recharging Underground Water Table in the Past .

It was on 23 rd June 2005 while addressing a public rally on the Martyrdom day of Dr Shayama Parshad Mukherjee who laid down his life for the Unity and Integrity of India Sh Lal Krishan Advani expressed his desire to build a monument in the memory of Dr Shayama Parshad Mukherjee near Madopur Headwork’s Bridge from where Dr Mukherjee crossed the Bridge without Permit to enter Jammu and Kashmir on 11 th May 1953 and was arrested and martyred on 23 rd June 1953 under mysterious circumstances. When in 2007 B.J.P-S.A.D. (B) Alliance came to Power, I as the Leader of the B.J.P. Legislature Group expressed the desire of Sh L.K. Advani to Chief Minister Punjab S Parkash Singh Badal to build a monument in the memory of great Martyr of India Dr Shayama Parshad Mukherjee. Chief Minister Punjab S Parkash Singh Badal readily accepted my suggestion and deputed me as Local Government and Industries Minister Punjab to execute the monument into realization. Then I contacted Sh Balbir Punj the then In charge of Political Affairs of B.J.P. Punjab who suggested me to contact Mr. Tarun Vijay M.P. who had a deep study of the life history of Dr Shayama Parshad Mukherjee. Mr. Tarun Vijay and myself contacted the Sculpture of International Fame Sh Ram Sutaar. It took about Six Months to build the monument. The Statute of Dr Shayama Parshad Mukherjee is 18 Feet in height and has been placed on the 10 Feet pedestal. The said monument named as “EKTA SATHAL “  was inaugurated on March 20 , 2010 by respected Sh Mohan Bhagwat Ji , Sar Sangh Sanchalak , Rashtariya Sawem Sewak Sangh ( R.S.S. ) , Sh L.K. Advani Former Deputy Prime Minister of India , Sh Nitin Gadkari the then National President B.J.P. , Deputy Chief Minister Punjab S Sukhbir Singh Badal . After declaration of Prime Ministerial Candidate in 2013 at Goa Sh Narendera Modi started his Election Campaign on 23 rd June 2013 by paying respect to Dr Shayama Parshad Mukherjee at “EKTA SATHAL “Madopur and became the Prime Minister Of India .On this day I pay respect to the great departed Soul who was born on 6 th July 1901 Dr Shayama Parshad Mukherjee the symbol of Unity and Integrity of India.

The Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Mr Jagat Parkash Nadda and Punjab Government should review and reconsider its decision of opening of All India Institute of Medical Sciences ( A.I.I.M.S. ) Hospital at Bhatinda . During the regime of Former Prime Minister of India Mr Atal Behari Vajpayee the policy opening of Clusters of A.I.I.M.S. in different States was carved out and Six Clusters were allocated to different States . In 2004-2005 , I communicated through Letter to the Former Chief Minister of Punjab Capt Amrinder Singh to take up the matter with then then U.P.A. Government to open a cluster of A.I.I.M.S. at newly constructed Hospital in Jalandhar at Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences ( P.I.M.S. ) in Doaba Region near Jalandhar to cater Doaba and Malwa Region which will certainly lessen the Burden of P.G.I. Chandigarh . The new cluster of A.I.I.M.S. should be constructed in the heart of Punjab near by Jalandhar .

The People of Doaba who in large number have gone abroad to earn there livelihood have always demanded for an International or Domestic Airport in Doaba (Punjab ) . As now once again the Industrialists , Traders and frequent Travelers have demanded for a Domestic Airport in Doaba Area .They have made various representations and have submitted Memorandums to the Union Government since Three Decades to get the proposal of Domestic or International Airport Cleared . As proposals were made but the results are known to all. Keeping in Demands of the People of Doaba , I will certainly send proposal to the Hon'ble Union Minister for Defense to allow Adampur Air Force Station for Domestic Flights to various destinations keeping in mind to fulfill the demand and necessity of the People of Doaba residing in India or Abroad .
