He served as the first Deputy Prime Minister of India. He was an Indian barrister . He played a leading role in the country's struggle for independence and guided its integration into a united, independent nation. In India and elsewhere, he was often called Sardar, meaning "chief" in Hindi, Urdu, and Persian. He acted as Home Minister during the political integration of India and the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947. His “STATUE OF UNITY" IS THE TALLEST STATUE OF 182 METER IN THE GLOBAL ...The “STATUE OF UNITY “ is a monument in India dedicated to Indian Independence Movement Leader Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel which was inaugurated on 31 st Oct 2018 by Hon’ ble Prime Minister Mr Narendera Modi on the eve of his Birth Anniversary. As the statue height is 182 Meters (597 Ft). The statue is one of the tallest statues in the Global which is being built near Sarovar Dam. The statue is a great tribute to Sardar Patel known as “Iron Man” and his contribution to the Unity and Integrity of the country.
