I am receiving number of complaints in regard to the repair work carried out at slow pace on the Chehru Bridge on National Highway No 1 between Jalandhar City-Phagwara . As the repair work had started many days before but the completion of the repair work is still in dilemma when the repair work will be completed . Being a Toll Road and the Vehicle owners travelling from Delhi , Ambala , Ludhiana pay Toll Tax but unfortunately long Lines of vehicles are witnessed on and often on this bridge as the traffic on one bridge has been closed and diverted on the other bridge due to repair . I will be taking up the matter with Chief Minister Punjab S Parkash Singh Badal and Deputy Chief Minister S Sukhbir Singh Badal for early completion of the repair work being carried out at Chehru Bridge to resolve the inconvenience to the vehicle owners due to traffic hazards due to the repair of the Bridge .
