Punjab needs Special Economic Package from the Union Government to speed up the pending Development Works which are in the pipe line for Urban Areas . Prime Minister Mr Narendera Modi should announce the Special Economic Package for Punjab which can be utilized for providing basic civic amenities , widening of Roads , Providing Safe Hygienic Drinking Water , L.E.D. /C.F.L. Street Light Points , Installation of Deep Tube wells , Cleaning out slush from the Drains passing through the Cities and other Development works in Public Interest . Punjab being a Border State and apart from this Punjab had faced a decade of Militancy in Eighties to Nineties .
