A deputation led by B.J.P. Leaders met me yesterday Evening and demanded to take up the matter of Rama Mandi Flyover and P.A.P. Chownk Flyover with the concerned authorities for early completion . They said that due to the delay in the completion of these both flyovers Traffic Hazards are visible daily at P.A.P. Chownk . I assured them that the construction of these Flyovers is with the Private Company and I can only forward your grievances to the Union Minister Mr Nitin Gadkari and National Highway Authority of India . I assured the deputation that I personally feel the problem of the residents of the City as both these Flyovers fall under my Jalandhar Central Constituency and I am aware of the problems faced by the people on these Chownks daily .Even though Traffic Police Authorities try their best to keep the traffic moving but some times due to Heavy Rush to Amritsar , Pathankot , Jammu and Kashmir Traffic strands creating inconvenience to the passengers going to long distance . Those present were Mr Puneet Shukla ,Mr Arun Khurana , Mr Anil Sacher ,Mr Jawahar Sood ,Mr D.P. Mali , S Jagjit Singh ,Mr Ashish Chopra and others were present .
