Deputation of B.J.P. Leaders from Rama Mandi and nearby areas met me yesterday with a list of suggestions in regard to the Jalandhar Cantt Railway Station . As they said that at present this is the busiest Railway Station the Booking Windows and Ticket Counters be also extended to the other side of the Jalandhar Cantt Railway Station for the convenience of the Passengers and extension of one more Platform . They also gave other number of suggestions like construction of new Waiting Hall , 24 x 7 Catering , Extension of Sheds on Platform No 1 and 2/3 and provision of Toilets on Platform No 2/3 . As I extended my full cooperation to them regarding the genuine demands and suggestions , I assured them that I will personally take appointment from the Union Railway Minister Mr Suresh Prabhu to aware him of the public Demands . Similarly Jalandhar City Railway Station also needs number of alternation which I will take up with the Union Railway Minister during meeting while submitting charter of suggestions .B.J.P. Senior Leaders who were present were Mr Rajat Mohindru , Mr Puneet Shukla , Mr Arun Khurana , Mr Anil Sacher , Mr Ramesh Sachdeva , Political Advisor to me Mr Ashish Chopra and others .
