Good Morning to all of my Friends , Have a Nice Day ....... En route to Allahabad Maha Kumbh, we stopped at Kanpur and bought Laddus from a shop famous by the name of “Thaggu ke Laddus”. This shop is 60 years old. Shri Rajinder Pandey the owner of the shop told that his father Late Shri Ram Avtar Pandey had started this shop in 1964.

He was a staunch Gandhian and used to attend Mahatma Gandhi's prayer meetings when he lived in Delhi. The slogan of this shop is "EISA KOI SAGGA NAHI , JISSKO HAMNE THAGA NAHI " (ऐसा कोई सगा नहीं , जिसको हमनें ठगा नहीं). Kulfi is also available here, whose name is Badnaam Kulfi.

My nephew, Mannu and niece Aditi used to eat "Thaggu ke Laddus" with great fondness 31 years ago during their childhood. Now I have brought the "Thaggu ke Laddus" for their daughters...

It is worth mentioning that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had mentioned the shop of "Thaggu ke Laddus" in his speech when he came to Kanpur for an election rally.

इलाहाबाद महा कुम्भ को जाते हुए हम कानपूर रुके और " ठग्गू के लड्डू " के नाम से मशहूर दुकान पर लड्डू ख़रीदे I यह दुकान 60 साल पुराणी है I इसके मालिक श्री राजिंदर पांडे ने बताया कि उनके पिता स्वर्गीय श्री राम अवतार पांडे जी ने यह दुकान 1964 में खोली थी I वह पक्के गाँधी वादी थे और वह महात्मा गाँधी जी की प्राथना सभा में जाया करते थे जब वह दिली में रहते थे I इस दुकान का स्लोगन है " ऐसा कोई सगा नहीं , जिसको हमनें ठगा नहीं "I यहाँ कुल्फी भी मिलती है , जिसका नाम है बदनाम कुल्फी I

मेरे भांजा , मन्नू और भांजी अदिति 31 साल पहले बड़े चाव से " ठग्गू के लड्डू " खाया करते थे अब उनकी बेटियों के लिए यह "ठग्गू के लड्डू" लाया हूँ.....

उल्लेखनीय है प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंदर मोदी जी ने "ठग्गू के लड्डू" की दुकान का अपने भाषण में ज़िकर किया था जब वह एक चुनाव रैली में कानपुर आये थे I
