Jalandhar City 30 th August 2019   Mr Manoranjan Kalia Former Minister Punjab & Former State President B.J.P. Punjab in a statement has condemned the dastardly act of Kidnapping and thereafter the forcible conversion of a 19 Years old Sikh Girl named Jagjit Kaur into Islam . A Video of Jagjit Kaur , the daughter of a Granthi ( Priest ) of Gurudwara  Tambu Sahib Pakistan  has also surfaced where Jagjit Kaur was forcibly converted to Islam and forcibly renamed as Ayesha .The Family of the victim Jagjit Kaur lodged a complaint to this effect to the Police but later on was forced to withdraw the complaint under threat that her Father and her Brothers would be shot dead if they did not comply .
                                                               Mr Kalia further said this is the tip of the iceberg of the volatile situation prevailing in the Pakistan in regard to the forcible conversions of Hindu , Sikh and Christian Girls into Islam and there after being married to Muslim Men . That is the cardinal reason of a demographic reduction of Minorities in Pakistan .
                                                               Mr Kalia appealed to Prime Minister of India Mr Narender Modi to intervene to take up the matter at the proper forum to ensure the safety and the security of the victim girl and Family and also the minorities in Pakistan .
