Punjab Government has hiked the Electricity Tariff in Punjab by 9.33 Percent directly effecting the pockets of the Electricity Consumers from 1 st April 2017 for different categories . The Hike in Electricity Tariff for the domestic consumer will increase the Electricity Bill of the Domestic Consumer as they will have to pay the current Bill with the calculations of hike in Electricity Tariff from 1 st April 2017 .Similarly hike in the Power Tariff for the Industrial units have been implemented .Really it is unfortunate that the hike will be with effect from 1 st April 2017 . I demand from the Punjab Government to review the Electricity Tariff Hike and Roll Back the hike of Electricity Tariff in public Interest . .
