Decks are now cleared for July roll out of uniform tax regime learning the decks for the July 1 roll out of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) that will subsume all central and state taxes for a unified tax regime across the country, Lok Sabha Wednesday night showed the green light to four related crucial supplementary Bills. As the passage of the Bills in the Parliament , GST will make commodities “slightly cheaper” and rates would depend on whether the commodity is used by a rich person or a common man.
