The Constitution Amendment Bill on Women’s 33 % reservation along with delimitation Bill failed to pass in the Lok Sabha is UNFORTUNATE .There is already 33 % Reservation for Women’s in the Panchayats , Municipal Committees , Municipal Corporations is already in existence as this Bill would have cleared 33 % reservation of women in Parliament also .

महिलाओं के लिए 33% आरक्षण संबंधी संविधान संशोधन विधेयक और परिसीमन विधेयक का लोकसभा में पारित न हो पाना दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है। पंचायतों, नगर समितियों और नगर निगमों में महिलाओं के लिए 33% आरक्षण पहले से ही लागू है, और इस विधेयक के पारित होने से संसद में भी महिलाओं के लिए 33% आरक्षण सुनिश्चित हो जाता।

ਇਹ ਮੰਦਭਾਗਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਸੋਧ ਬਿੱਲ ਅਤੇ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਲਈ 33% ਰਾਖਵਾਂਕਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੱਦਬੰਦੀ ਬਿੱਲ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਿਆ। ਪੰਚਾਇਤਾਂ, ਨਗਰ ਪਾਲਿਕਾ ਕਮੇਟੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰ ਨਿਗਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਲਈ 33% ਰਾਖਵਾਂਕਰਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਬਿੱਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਸ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਸਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਲਈ 33% ਰਾਖਵਾਂਕਰਨ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ।
