MY GLOWING TRIBUTES TO LATE DR BALDEV PARKASH JI GREAT LEADER OF PUNJAB …Today is the 30 th Death Anniversary of Dr Baldev Parkash Ji . He was an Institution in himself and had a long Political Career in which he discharged successfully many responsibilities as a Finance Minister of the First Non Congress Government in Punjab after partition , as a Member Parliament of 6 th Lok Sabha etc. He was Founder member of Akhil Bharatiya Jan Sangh , State President B.J.S. , First State President of Bharatiya Janata Party , Punjab and National Vice President B.J.P. . He was a torch bearer of communal Harmony in Punjab during the days of Militancy . His contribution in bringing peace in Punjab cant be lost sight off . Many B.J.P. Leaders like Late Sh Balram Ji Dass Tandon , My Father Late Manmohan Kalia , Late Sh Hitabhilashi , Mr Madan Mohan Mittal , Ch Swarna Ram , Master Mohan Lal , myself and many more had the opportunity to work under his guidance . I from the core of my heart pay glowing tributes to great leader of Punjab Late Dr Baldev Parkash Ji on the eve of his death anniversary. When I became Local Bodies and Industry Minister Punjab and Leader of B.J.P. Group of Legislatures , I took the initiative to get the statue of Dr Baldev Parkash installed in Amritsar so that his ideology always remain intact in the minds of the younger generation . The said statue was unveiled by Sh Nitin Gadkari , the then National President B.J.P. & now Union Minister , S Parkash Singh Badal , the then Chief Minister , Punjab , Sh Balbir Punj the then M.P. , National Secretary B.J.P. & In charge of Punjab B.J.P. Political Affairs and my self in Jan 2010.
