Jalandhar City 5 th June 2021 Sh. Manoranjan Kalia Former Minister and Former State President BJP Punjab in a Press Statement said that Congress Government's decision to withdraw the sold vaccine doses from the Private Hospitals will not settle the issue . There are many questions which demand answers. If vaccination procurement done by the Officers do not belong to Health Department as per Health Minister S. Balbir Singh Sidhu , who ordered Sh. Vikas Garg, IAS Officer, the nodal Officer to procure the same @ Rs. 400 per dose  and to sell at least 20,000 vaccine doses to Private Hospitals @ Rs. 1060 per dose, thereby  pocketing  Rs. 660 per dose as profit  in vaccination  CSR Fund  (Corporate Social Responsibility)? When the Central Government has fixed the quota of vaccine to be purchased from manufacturers among center, State and Private Hospitals in the ratio of 50% : 25% : 25% respectively, Congress Government in Punjab has no authority to sell the vaccine doses to Private Hospitals on profit. If Health Minister S. Balbir Singh Sidhu has not been taken into confidence for the purchase and sale of vaccine doses, who is running the Health Department ? The Captain Government's decision to withdraw the sold vaccine doses from the Private Hospitals shows that Congress Government thinks  after taking the decision and reverts back to  its earlier position.
