In "Jalandhar Tribune " today , there is a story " A testimony to partition, Bhargo Camp Still awaits development " by Aakanknsha N Bhardwaj . In the said story , Sh Sardari Lal Ji , Veteran Leader of Congress in a statement refers about the opening of two dispensaries in Bhargo Camp . One of the above mentioned two dispensaries was opened with the efforts of my father Late Sh Manmohan Kalia , Former Minister , Punjab . It is pertinent to note that my father Late Sh Manmohan Kalia represented twice in 1967 & 1969 South Assembly constituency Jalandhar of which Bhargo Camp used to be the part . He remained a Local Government Minister with two Chief Ministers Late Justice Gurnam Singh and S Parkash Singh Badal in 1969 -1970 . It was during his tenure as Local Government Minister , the said Government dispensary was opened in Bhargo Camp , Jalandhar . The opening of said Government Dispensary in Bhargo Camp has the reference in the 1972 Election Manifesto of my father Late Sh Manmohan Kalia at page 3 which is depicted below .
