MEMORIES ARE EVER LASTING -------------- 50 years old  photographs snapped immediately after  the announcement of  1967  Punjab Assembly Election results  in which my father Late Sh. Manmohan Kalia and late Sh. Lal Chand Sabharwal , the candidates of  Akhil Bharatiya Jan Sangh were declared Elected , the first electoral victory of BJS in Jalandhar.  These photographs were clicked at Gandhi Park, Company Bagh Jalandhar, depicting Sea of humanity in which my father Late Sh. Manmohan Kalia and Late Sh. Sabharwal were standing with the statue of  Mahatma Gandhi. The counting of votes at that time took place in the Town Hall  Jalandhar. The fathers, grand-fathers or Uncles of my Face Book viewers might have been present on that occasion. Now my father is no more, Sabharwal ji is no more, Town Hall is no more---------only memories are there--------
