" Infrastructure Development " and "providing Basic Civic Amenities " in Punjab will be the major issue in the coming Punjab assembly Elections 2017 . Punjab has witnessed a drastic change specially in the rural areas where basic civic amenities have been provided to the masses . Apart from this specially in Urban Areas also development has surpassed all the previous records in Nine and a Half Years . Even though Punjab is a Border State Punjab B.J.P.
