Few Days Back I had opportunity to visit Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences ( P.I.M.S) , Garha Road , Jalandhar . Outside the O.P.D when I saw the Inauguration Stone of P.I.M.S. I clicked the same and remembered this prestigious project of Doaba , How with my sincere efforts I got it cleared and Funds approved from the Authorities . As the Foundation stone of the Construction of the Building was laid on 4 Th November 2001 by the then Chief Minister Punjab S . Parkash Singh Badal and myself presided over the function when I was holding the charge of Medical Education and Research Minister in 2001 .
