WILL FARMERS OF PUNJAB ULTIMATELY ACHIEVE THE GOAL OF FULFILLING SECOND GREEN REVOLUTION ?
The declining under Ground Water Table in various Areas , Water Logging problem in few Areas , as no doubt Punjab Irrigation Department has carried out ample of Works to Irrigate maximum areas of Cultivation may be through remodeling of Chain of Canals or digging of Deep Tube wells , The Question arises that due to the Global warming and less monsoons then predicted by the metro-logy department sometimes upsets the yield of the crop . It is now for the Farmer of Punjab to pave for Crop Diversification in coming Years and switch on to other crops that can economically benefit the Farmers of Punjab to achieve the ultimate goal of Second Green revolution .
