Punjab has witnessed a drastic change in regard to the Infrastructure Development in the State in the past Nine and a Half Years under B.J.P-S.A.D.(B) Alliance governance .Along with Infrastructure Development basic civic amenities have also been provided in the rural and Urban areas and the focus of the Punjab Government was to provide Safe Drinking water to the Masses , Health Services , providing basic civic amenities . B.J.P. National President Mr Amit Shah and Union Minister for Finance Mr Arun Jaitley along with Union Minister and Punjab B.J.P. President Mr Vijay Sampla visited Punjab on the eve of celebrations of Fifty Years of Punjabi Subha in Amritsar and the historic events of the Pre -Independence Period and the Post -Independence period were highlighted .
