I today visited Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences ( P.I.M.S.) to inquire about the health of
Raja and his son Kartik who yesterday received burn injuries while walking on burning coal with his son during a run at the Maa Maaariamma Mela . As Yesterday night I received a call from Deepak Kumar a Photo Journalist in regard to the incident that had happened and he rushed to the PIMS Hospital. As I gave Rs 10000 to them for medicines and Treatment. As today I talked to Chief Minister Punjab S Parkash Singh Badal who directed that the Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Mr. Kamal Kishore Yadav I.A.S that the Punjab Government will bear the expenses of the treatment of Father and Son. This I disclosed to the wife of Raja in the Hospital as senior officials and Doctors were present during my visit .As Mr Anil Sacher , Rakesh Goel , Ashish Chopra were also present
