In the Pre -Partition Days Punjab was called Land of Five Rives but in the Post Independence Period even now Punjab is quoted of Land of Five Rivers but in actual now Three Rivers cross through Punjab Beas , Sutluj , Ravi . As seminars are being organized by various Social Organizations regarding declining of Under Ground Water Table Level , eminent writer S Kirpal Singh Dardi has written a book "PANNIA DA SANKAT " PUNJAB LAI KHATRE DI GHANTEE " Even my name has been quoted in this book for taking up the issue of SYL and raising voice that Punjab has no surplus water . I am thankful from the core of my heart to S Kirpal Singh Dardi for writing a Book on River Waters in Punjab and has alarmed the People of Punjab that Punjab has no surplus River waters . I once again request to "SAVE EVERY DROP OF WATER "
