SAFETY SAVES TRAFFIC POLICE ORGANIZING TRAFFIC AWARENESS WEEK
Traffic Police is organizing Traffic Awareness Week to aware the Vehicle owners of their duties and commitments to follow and honor the traffic rules for safe Driving . As the Traffic police should ensure that the vehicle owners do not jump traffic signals and refrain from using high beam Lights during Night driving which upsets the drivers of the vehicles coming from the opposite direction . Keeping the Traffic running smooth and intact where it is the duty of the Traffic Police Cops , it is also the responsibility of every citizen to obey the traffic rules and to refrain from overtaking at Traffic Signals specially at Rama Mandi Chownk and P.A.P. Chownks . As a deputation led by Senior B.J.P. Leaders yesterday met me apprising of the problems at P.A.P. Chownk and suggested to construct the road on the side which needs immediate attention for the traffic coming from Rama Mandi Chownk for smooth running towards Jalandhar City .I have even raised this issue of traffic Hazards with the concerned authorities in public Interest .
