"Crop Diversification" is the need of time in Punjab to achieve the ultimate goal of Second Green Revolution . Keeping in mind the declining under ground water table Level in various areas in Punjab specially in the Kandi areas, foot hills of Shivalik Mountains . The Farmers in Punjab have succeeded in manifold increasing their Agriculture produce , it is all due to Canals , Deep Tube wells which are both beneficiary for Agriculture and Drinking water specially in the Beet area of Kandi foothills of Shivalik Range where as in the past the Farmers had to rely on Monsoon Rain .
