B.J.P. Leaders from Ward No 30 Central Town , Krishan Nagar met me and expressed their views and suggestions that the Nehru Garden Road which is Gateway to the Jalandhar City ( Future Smart City ) needs immediate attention specially installations of New Street Light Points and replacement of the Old Street Light Points and installations of New Street Lights on this Road from Railway Station to G.P.O. Chownk and similarly from Shastri Market Chownk to Civil Lines up to Police Lines . Many Pointed out that the Electricity Poles from G.P.O. to Railway Station are always threat to an major accident during Night as these Electricity Poles needs immediate shifting to the side of the Road . Similarly these Poles should be painted with Reflector Color . Many in the deputation had pointed out that the Road needs widening but it is not possible at present , the Foot Paths made for Pedestrians are not in use , these Foot Paths should be dismantlement and road be extended on both sides for the continence of smooth running of Traffic during the Day Time . Similarly some members complained that the 400 Watt Street Lights are not working and needs immediate repair at Madan Flour Mill Chownk ( Now Ajit Chownk ) .The Leaders from Krishan Nagar said that the pressure in Water Taps drops from 8 A.M. onward . I assured appropriate action from my end in this matter and soon talk to commissioner and Senior Officials of Municipal Corporation Jalandhar City to solve the problems at the earliest . The B.J.P. Leaders who were present were Mr Anil Sacher , Sushil Kumar Suri , Ramesh Sachdeva , Titu Kampania , Chaman Lal Sharma , Anil Sharma , Rajat Mohindru and others .
